These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sendō mobile application and related Sendō websites, services, content, and features. By using Sendō, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

1. About Sendō

Sendō is a training and wellness app designed to help users practice breathwork, meditation, yoga, strength training, and related personal development activities.

Sendō may include timers, training records, milestones, workout guidance, educational resources, and profile features such as the SendōCard.

2. No Medical Advice

Sendō is not a medical app and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

The content in Sendō is provided for general educational, fitness, and wellness purposes only. You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing any fitness, breathwork, meditation, yoga, or wellness routine, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are taking medication, have a history of fainting, breathing issues, heart issues, panic attacks, seizures, or any other health concern.

3. Assumption of Risk

Physical training, yoga, breathwork, and meditation may involve risk. These risks may include discomfort, dizziness, injury, emotional distress, fainting, overexertion, or other adverse effects.

You are responsible for using Sendō safely and within your own limits. Stop any activity immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, faintness, panic, or distress.

Never practice breathwork while driving, swimming, bathing, operating machinery, or in any situation where fainting or reduced awareness could create danger.

By using Sendō, you understand and accept the risks associated with training and wellness activities.

4. Your Responsibility

You agree to:

  • Use Sendō only for lawful purposes
  • Use the app safely and responsibly
  • Enter accurate information if you choose to record training data
  • Stop any activity that feels unsafe
  • Seek professional advice when appropriate
  • Avoid using Sendō in a way that could harm yourself or others

5. App Content and Training Guidance

Sendō may provide exercise names, workout structures, breathwork timers, yoga references, meditation timers, research links, and other educational content.

This content is not a substitute for professional instruction, medical advice, physical therapy, emergency care, or individualized coaching.

We may update, modify, add, or remove content and features at any time.

6. SendōCard and User-Entered Information

The SendōCard may display information you choose to enter, such as your display name, location, training statistics, and milestone badges.

Only enter information you are comfortable displaying in the app. Future versions of Sendō may allow sharing or exporting SendōCards. If sharing features are added, you will be responsible for deciding what information you share.

7. Accounts, Subscriptions, and Payments

The current version of Sendō may not require an account or paid subscription. If future versions include accounts, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or Sendō Pro features, additional terms may apply.

Any purchases made through Apple’s App Store will also be subject to Apple’s applicable terms and payment rules.

8. Intellectual Property

Sendō, Sendō Worldwide, app designs, logos, graphics, training structures, written content, and other materials are owned by Sendō Worldwide or its licensors, unless otherwise stated.

You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, sell, or exploit Sendō content or software without permission.

Sendō may link to websites, resources, or services outside the app. We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, content, privacy practices, or terms. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.

10. Availability and Changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Sendō at any time. We may also fix bugs, update content, modify features, or change app functionality without notice.

We do not guarantee that Sendō will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device or operating system version.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Sendō is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and safety.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sendō Worldwide and its owners, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any injury, loss, claim, or damages arising from your use of Sendō.

Your use of the app is your responsibility.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sendō Worldwide and its owners, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from your use of Sendō, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or rights of another person.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Sendō or related services if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the app in a harmful, unlawful, or abusive way.

You may stop using Sendō at any time.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of Sendō after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
